Warning: I almost spent $260 on a bread machine and I'm so glad I didn't
Ten years ago I wanted a bread machine so bad, but my husband pushed me to try the $4 bag of flour and a loaf pan from the Dollar Tree in Springfield first. Fast forward to now and I've baked probably 300 loaves for pennies each, while my neighbor's $260 machine sits in her garage after three uses. That one small choice saved us real money every single week for a decade. What kitchen gadget did you skip that turned out to be the smartest move?
Oh man this hits home lol. My instant pot sat in the box for like 8 months and then I sold it to my sister for cheap and used that money for a good cast iron pan I still use every day. Best trade I ever made.
