Pro tip: My roommate's coffee habit budget hack blew my mind

So my roommate Sarah was talking about how she saves on coffee, and I figured she just made pour-over at home like everyone else. But she told me she actually budgets $15 a month for specialty coffee and just buys one really nice bag of beans from a local roaster. She stretches it by using a French press and only having one cup a day, which is way cheaper than my daily $5 latte habit. I did the math and realized I was spending like $150 a month on coffee shop drinks without even thinking. Now I'm trying her method with a $14 bag from a shop in Austin last week, and honestly it tastes better than my usual espresso drinks. Has anyone else found a small change like this that saved way more than you expected?

Did you try rationing it out or just wing it every morning?

Winging it is half the fun honestly (not everything needs a system).
