I put $40 a week in cash envelopes for 8 weeks and somehow ended up with $61 extra
I started keeping grocery money in a plain white envelope at my desk in Boise and stopped using my card for food, and by week 8 I had $61 left over because I was too lazy to walk back for the envelope. Has anyone else found that just making money annoying to reach saved more than any app did?
Kept my fun money in a jar on top of the fridge and that stupid little climb stopped me from blowing so much on junk. Made me realize half my card swipes were just cause it was easy, not cause I actually wanted the stuff.
