Warning: A bus driver in Lisbon showed me a better way to get around

I was trying to get to Belem from the city center and almost bought a 24-hour transit pass for 6.50 euros. The driver saw me looking at the map and said, 'Just buy a single ticket, then use the bike share.' I took the bus one way, then got a cheap bike for the trip back along the river. It cost half the price and the view was amazing. Has anyone else found a local tip that saved money on transport?

Ask how you found the bike share station. Was it easy to spot or did you need an app to locate it?
