Man... that's just airport security being way too jumpy these days. I had something similar happen with a bag of trail mix once... they pulled me aside and swabbed everything. It totally ruins the whole point of trying to save a few bucks when you get delayed for half an hour. They treat any homemade food like it's some kind of weird science project. Honestly, they need better training so normal stuff doesn't set them off. Makes you just want to buy the overpriced airport food next time... which is probably what they want anyway.

You're right about the hassle, @nathan283, but it's probably not some plan to make you buy airport food. They're just being too careful with homemade stuff. Still sucks to get delayed though lol.
