Got burned by a 25 euro "tourist tax" in Venice that was never on my booking site
Booked a hostel near the Rialto for 4 nights at 30 euro a night, then got hit with a 25 euro city tax at check in that no site mentioned, so now I always search "[city] tourist tax" before I book anything, anyone else get surprised by these hidden fees?
