Tried the 'shop the outer aisles' rule and my grocery bill actually went UP $40
Everyone says skip the middle aisles to save money, so I tried it for a month at the Kroger on 5th. Problem was I ended up making extra trips for spices and pasta anyway, and those quick runs cost me way more than one big trip. Anyone else notice that avoiding the middle aisles just means you buy the same stuff somewhere else for more money?
