Grocery store in Tulsa marking up rice by 40 cents a bag

I stopped at the Kroger on 41st and noticed the house brand rice went up from $1.89 to $2.29 overnight, same bag size as always. Anyone else seeing random staples jump like this, or is it just my store being greedy?

40 cents is just the appetizer. Wait till they start charging per grain.
