Just realized my $9 drip pan hack worked better than the $45 one I almost bought
My fridge was leaking water all over the floor in my Nashville apartment, so I put a $45 plastic drip pan under it from the hardware store. It cracked in 3 weeks and water still pooled up everywhere. Then I cut a 2 liter soda bottle in half, slid it under the fridge line, and it caught every drop for 2 months straight. The free one has a wider mouth and won't crack no matter how cold it gets. Anyone else got a free fix that beat the store version?

Plastic trays are junk, they get brittle in the cold and split right down the seam. Soda bottle plastic holds up way better. I did the same thing with a cut up milk jug under my washer for a year, still going.
