Vent: In my experience, waiting for a custom lintel to arrive took so long we built a temporary arch out of scrap wood.

That scrap wood arch might outlast the actual lintel at this rate.

Caleb_owens isn't wrong, my uncle's plywood shed door lasted fifteen years after the replacement hinge got lost in the mail.
