My mortar mix disaster while fixing a wall in Italy
The client's cat walked through it and left paw prints everywhere.

Oh dear! You know, in some old villages here in Italy, you can still see animal prints set in ancient plaster. They tell a story about the life that happened there. Your cat's little accident might just add a bit of heart to your repair job. Think of it like a hidden signature, a mark of your own home's history. It's frustrating now, but someday you might look back and smile at those stubborn paw shapes. That wall will have a tale all its own.

Doubt it's that serious...

Hold up, did vera482 just compare a messed up floor to old Italian art? Honestly that's a wild take. I've seen pet damage on jobs and it's never cute, it's just a pain to fix. Tbh if I left paw prints in someone's new plaster they'd be calling me back to redo the whole section. Ngl that's some next level finding the bright side though.
