Hit my 100th chimney cap this Tuesday and it felt like just another job

Started counting when I got stuck on a tricky one last spring, but 100 came up faster than I expected and now I'm wondering if anyone else tracks little milestones like that or am I just weird about keeping counts.

Does counting them change how you look at the ones that don't go perfect? I mean, 100 is a lot and most of them probably went smooth, but the ones that didn't must really stick out in your head now. Maybe keeping count makes the bad jobs feel bigger than they are because they break up the streak. Idk, it could be good for your memory of the craft though, like a diary of what works and what doesn't.

Totally, I started logging my gigs last year and it actually helped me see the rough ones as learning moments instead of failures.
