That $70 antique tin of mints was just rusty disappointment
Saw a gorgeous 1920s Altoids-style tin at a flea market in Portland last month, packaging looked like a tiny treasure chest so I coughed up $70 before checking inside. The lid was glued shut with old candy residue and the whole thing smelled like a dead mouse, has anyone else gotten burned by vintage packaging that hid a mess?
