Spent $18 on a cereal box shaped like a robot just to keep the toy, and now I cant throw out the box
So about two weeks ago I was at this weird little grocery store in Akron that sells stuff other places wont, and I see this cereal. The box is shaped like a robot with arms you punch out, and it was marked down to $18 because nobody wanted it. I bought it purely for the box, obviously, the cereal inside was stale and gross but the robot on the front is amazing. Here is the thing though, the second I got it open I could not bring myself to toss the box. It is sitting on my kitchen counter right now like a trophy and my roommate keeps asking if I am okay. I think my whole deal changed that day, I used to throw out packaging without a second thought but now every box feels like it might be worth keeping. Anyone else got a shelf full of empty boxes they swear they will do something with, or is it just me being weird about cardboard?
