Tried plant music for a season, now I'm sure it's pointless

Music doesn't affect plant growth in any way.

Describe your setup for me, like what kind of plants you used and for how long each day you played music. Did you try different types of music or just stick to one kind?

What if the music doesn't do anything at all? I used a basic fern and played rock music for two hours every day for a month, and it just kind of sat there. The whole thing seems like guessing since you can't ask the plant if it likes the song. Maybe it just grew because it got water and light, which we already know works.
