My spider plant just hit 15 pups and I was totally wrong about them

I always thought spider plants were kind of boring (you know, the basic office plant). But this one I got from a friend in Denver two years ago just produced its 15th baby plant, or pup. That's a crazy number for a single plant in my apartment. Seeing that whole curtain of little green shoots changed my mind completely. It's not boring, it's just really, really good at what it does. Has anyone else had a plant surprise them by being way more prolific than you expected?

Wow, I totally wrote them off as boring too until mine went nuts like that.

Yeah @butler.shane, I feel that. My own stuff went from zero to a hundred real fast, and I was just sitting there like an idiot who missed all the signs. It's funny how you can totally misread a situation until it blows up in your face. Makes you wonder what else you've written off too soon, you know? Guess I need to work on my patience, or at least my ability to spot the crazy before it starts.
