TIL there's a site that logs every culvert replacement in one Ohio county, and I read all 212 entries
Found it 3 weeks ago while looking up why the road near my aunt's place in Medina flooded every spring. It's just a plain white page with a gray table, no pictures, and each line says the date, the road name, and the pipe size, that's it. The county clerk has been adding to it since 2011 and the newest entry is from June. I keep thinking about how someone out there needs this list to do their job, and it made me wonder what other tiny public records like this are just sitting online with 40 visitors a month.
A buddy of mine does title searches and he swears by some old county drainage map site that looks like it was built in 1998. He found a pipe that was never recorded and it saved him a whole day of digging.
