A librarian in Tulsa pointed me to a 2003 directory of Oklahoma ghost towns and now I'm 40 pages deep
Was killing time at the Tulsa Central Library last Tuesday and the reference librarian pulled a spiral bound book off a back shelf called 'Oklahoma Places That Ain't There No More' from 2003. It's just 90 pages of dead towns with population counts and old post office dates, no pictures, printed on what looks like a church office copier. I've now mapped 12 of them on my own time and half the spots are just a brick wall or a cell tower. Anybody got a hookup for more of these county level historical society print jobs, or is eBay my best bet?
