Showerthought: I spent 6 hours matching a 1972 Ford Maverick paint chip under three different lights and finally got it right at 4pm

The shop had 11 paint codes for that one green, and I only nailed it after dragging the car outside to check it in actual daylight, which made me think about how color matching is way more about light than paint, so has anyone else had a job where the whole trick was just standing in the right spot?
