Hot take: the $3 estate sale calculator I bought in Tulsa has a better keyboard than my phone
I bought a beat up TI-108 for three bucks at an estate sale in Tulsa last month mostly because it was orange. I figured it was junk but the keys have this soft click and the thing runs on a solar strip and one battery that will probably outlive me. I started using it for quick napkin math at my desk and now I honestly reach for it before my phone calculator. Has anyone else found cheap old tools that just feel better than the new stuff?
