Customer told me my spine hinges were cracking too much and I was mad until I checked
Some guy at a craft fair last Saturday said my books looked nice but the spines were gonna fall apart in a year lol. I was kinda offended at first but when I got home I tested my hinges and he was totally right. I was gluing them too tight and not letting the spine flex naturally. Switched to a looser rounded spine method and now the books open way better. Anybody else get salty feedback that actually helped in the end?

My friend Jenna makes pottery and a lady told her the glaze on her mugs looked like "sickly hospital beige." She was so mad she almost cried, but it turns out she was using a bad batch of clear glaze that was making everything look dingy. She switched suppliers and now her stuff actually looks amazing, she still hates that customer though.

Gotta say @xena_taylor64, that customer might've done Jenna a favor without meaning to. Saved her from selling a bunch of ugly mugs and damaging her rep before she figured out the glaze was the issue.
