A retired binder in St. Louis showed me his 1970s glue pot and it made me rethink my whole setup
I met this older guy named Walt at a book arts fair in St. Louis last month and he showed me the cast iron glue pot he got in 1974, still going strong. He looked at my electric glue warmer and just smiled and said "heat you can feel is heat you can trust," and I have been thinking about it for weeks. Does anyone here still work with an old glue pot, or am I just feeling nostalgic for a tool I never owned?
