Unpopular opinion: most guys tighten tube sheets way too hot and wonder why the rolled joints leak
Did a retube on a 300 hp boiler in Dayton last month and the tube sheet was still warm enough to sizzle spit when I got there, so my rolls came out sloppy. What temp do you all let the sheet cool to before you start rolling?
