My buddy's 10 minute rule for picking games actually works
Last month at a convention in Austin, a stranger told me to set a 10 minute timer after explaining any game rules. If the table isn't asking questions or laughing by then, just pack it up. Tried it twice this week with different groups and both times it saved us from dragging through something nobody liked. Has anyone else used a cutoff like that for teaching heavier games?
