Hit 100 board game plays this year and I'm shook

I keep a play log on BGG and last night I realized I crossed 100 plays for 2025. That's double what I did last year and I'm honestly surprised because I didn't feel like I was playing that much. The number that got me was 47 different games played too, which means I'm not just replaying the same few. Has anyone else tracked their yearly plays and hit a milestone that caught them off guard?

Man, @charles_green hit the nail on the head when he said it's a cool feeling. I get what you're saying about being shook, I hit 150 plays last year and it felt like I blinked and missed half of them. The variety you've got is insane though, 47 different games means you're getting into all sorts of stuff. For me it was easy wins that padded my count, stuff like Yahtzee and Uno that I'd play with the kids without even logging. It surprises me how much the hobby sneaks up on you when you're not actively trying to hit a number. Makes you wonder if you're actually having more fun than you give yourself credit for.

Oh man, 47 different games is wild. I hit 120 plays last year and my jaw dropped because I thought I was barely playing. I only got to 36 unique games though, so you're way more varied than me. For me it was Dominion and Splendor that padded my numbers, I swear I played those like 15 times each without even noticing. It's such a cool feeling to look back and realize your hobby is way bigger than you thought.
