Warning about that popular London fashion blog from 2006
I picked that SeventiesStyle blog over a smaller one called VintageStreet because it had more followers. Turned out the big blog copied all their content from old magazines without credit. Anyone else find a niche blog that turned out to be fake?

Oh man, that SeventiesStyle blog was notorious. I remember finding a "vintage" DIY tutorial on there that was literally a scan from a 1974 issue of Vogue, just with the watermark cropped out. The worst part was they built this whole persona around being an authentic street style blogger, but it was all just repurposed magazine spreads from the 70s. VintageStreet was actually legit, they had original photos of people's actual vintage finds from charity shops. Big follower counts can be such a trap, especially back then before people knew to check for originality.

Yo @the_joel, remember when my friend found a "rare vintage band tee" on there and it was just a screen grab from a 1974 Rolling Stone ad?
