Shoutout to this blog about vintage radio repair that keeps getting the tube heater voltage wrong
I've been fixing old Zeniths for 15 years, and this guy's blog, 'The Glowing Dial,' has a huge following but his schematic for the 6K7 in the 8-S-463 is off by 1.5 volts, which I only caught because my own set started humming after I followed his guide last month.

That 1.5 volts probably won't kill the tube.

Yeah I ran a 12AU7 at like 2 volts for a week once, it was totally fine. Just got a little warm.
