I keep seeing people link to blogs that shut down years ago
I've been trying to find good, active blogs about old typewriters for a few months now. At least three times, I've clicked a link from a forum or a listicle, only to find the last post was from 2018. One blog, 'The Daily Clack,' looked perfect, but it's been a ghost town for six years. It matters because it makes our community lists useless and wastes everyone's time. We should check the date of the last post before we share a link. How do you all check if a blog is still alive before you post it here?

Ugh, that's so frustrating. I usually just scroll to the bottom of the page real quick to check the date.

Seriously, that date check is my first move too. I got burned last week looking up a phone repair guide. Followed all these steps only to realize the tutorial was for a model that came out like eight years ago. Total waste of an afternoon. Now I just slam that scroll wheel straight to the footer before I read a single word.
