Found a blog from 2008 that's just scanned pages from a guy's old fishing logbook

Back then, I'd spend hours on big blog sites looking for gear reviews. Now I get more from this one guy in Michigan who's been posting his handwritten catch notes every Sunday for 16 years. He doesn't sell anything, just logs water temp, lure color, and weather for each bass. I started checking it in 2020 and it's changed how I pick my spots. His data from 2012 helped me figure out a pattern on my local lake last spring. Does anyone else follow these super niche, zero-comment journals?

Totally get that. Those quiet, consistent logs are pure gold. Found a similar one for local hiking trails that's saved my butt with weather patterns.

Saved my butt" feels a bit strong for a weather log. I check forecasts too, but it's just a hike. How bad can the weather really get if you're already prepared with the right gear? Seems like we're overthinking a simple walk in the woods.
