Can we talk about the blog I found that's just someone cataloging their 12 year old hot sauce collection?
I stumbled on this site last night while looking for a recipe to use up some habaneros. The blog started in 2012 and they just post photos of old hot sauce bottles with notes like "still good, surprisingly." No ads, no comments, no social media links. Just 278 posts about aging hot sauce. It's weirdly calming but also I'm worried about this person's fridge space.

278 posts over 12 years with no ads is wild. Honestly, what's their endgame here? I gotta know if they're tasting each one or just holding onto bottles like artifacts. Like, did they crack open a 2015 bottle of something called "Dragon's Fury" and actually put it on eggs, or is it just sitting there as a trophy? Feels like a museum curator with a hot sauce problem.

The fact they hit exactly 278 posts with no break for 12 years is what got me. I actually used to think this kind of thing was just hoarding with extra steps. But the more I scrolled through their entries, the more I saw it as a real food journal. They're not just collecting bottles, they're tracking how things change over time which is something a lot of us don't do with our food. I think they're probably tasting small amounts and making notes, like a science experiment you can put on tacos.
