I used to have 300 bookmarks about building a language, now I keep 1 and it is just a phone number
For about 6 years I was the person with a bookmark folder called 'conlang stuff' that had over 300 links in it. Grammar PDFs, old Geocities pages for extinct languages, a site that generated word lists from Proto-Indo-European roots, all of it. I never opened 95 percent of them. Last month I finally sat down on a Saturday and went through the folder one by one on my laptop at the kitchen table, and I deleted 297 links in about 90 minutes. What convinced me was that I clicked one bookmark from 2019, a forum thread about verb conjugation, and the domain was dead, just a parked page selling domain names. Then I clicked the next one and it was the same dead page. I had a whole folder of nothing. The only one I kept was a link that turned out to be a phone number for a retired linguistics guy in Ohio, because his site was gone but the number still went to his house and he picked up. So now my whole bookmark system is 4 folders and I actually use what is in them. What is the oldest bookmark in your browser that still works?
