My DVD binder from 2004 vs. my streaming queue now
Back in 2004 I had a big black binder with 200 DVDs in it, and I knew exactly where every disc was, even the ones I had not touched in months. Now I scroll through four different apps for 20 minutes and end up watching the same three shows I always do. The change happened around 2018 when I moved to Austin and my roommate said "why keep the binder, everything is online now." I still miss pulling out a disc, seeing the scratches, and remembering where I bought it. Does anyone else still keep a few physical copies around just in case?
