That $15 thrift store drum machine turned out to be a broken toy keyboard
I grabbed a beat-up Casio off the shelf at a Goodwill in Des Moines thinking I scored a lo-fi goldmine. Got it home, plugged it in, and all it does is play a single tinny 'ba-ding' sound over and over. Has anyone else fallen for a piece of gear that looked cool but was totally useless?

Used to swear by Goodwill gear but that changes a person real fast.
