Tried a 2 hour podcast episode on a cold case vs a 6 tweet thread about it, and the long one wrecked me
I had the SAME case queued up two ways last week and the podcast took forever to get going but by hour one I knew every name and could not stop. The thread got to the point in 9 tweets but I forgot the whole thing by dinner. How do you all pick which long ones are worth the time before you're already 40 minutes in?

Heard a buddy say he plays the first 10 minutes at 1.5x and if it hasn't hooked him by then he drops it. Saved him a ton of wasted hours apparently. Seems like a decent way to test the water before you're deep in.
