Just found a 2007 forum thread where someone detailed how they tracked a single bag of chips across 4 states
I was digging through old web archives last night looking for a recipe, and I stumbled onto this forum post from 2007 where a guy mapped out the entire journey of a bag of Doritos he bought at a gas station in Ohio. He had receipts, photos, and even matched up the batch code with the factory location in Michigan. The thing went through a distributor in Indiana, sat in a warehouse in Illinois, and ended up in a tiny store in Kentucky. Has anyone else ever gone down a rabbit hole like that on some random detail? I ended up reading the whole thread for like two hours.

Remember finding a similar thread from around 2008, someone tracked a single pair of boots from a factory in China to a store in New York. They had shipping labels, port records, and even found the guy who sewed them. Spent a whole Sunday reading it.
