I finally stopped skimming long posts after a librarian in Denver called me out
She said I was missing the whole point by jumping to the comments, so I started reading every word of a 12,000 word fanfic and it took me 3 nights but the payoff was huge. Now I actually look for the slow parts first. Anyone else have someone tell them to slow down and it actually stuck?
