TIL my garage door opener has a travel limit screw and it took me 45 minutes to figure that out

So my door kept reversing halfway down for like 3 days. I tried cleaning the sensors on both sides, swapped the batteries in the remote, even stood there holding the wall button which sorta worked but not really. Finally googled the model number and found a forum where someone mentioned the travel limit adjustment. Two turns of a screwdriver and it's been fine since. Why is this not in the manual that came with the unit? Has anyone else had a fix that simple that took way too long to discover?

Took you 45 minutes but you got there, so the system works I guess... plus most people probably never touch those screws after install so the manual skipping right over it kinda makes sense. My opener has a whole diagram in the lid but who actually reads that until something breaks.
