Rant: spent 3 hours last Saturday chasing a printer problem that was one flipped USB cable
I swapped drivers, rebooted the router twice, and dug out a 2019 forum thread before my kid pointed at the port and asked why the plug was upside down. What is the dumbest fix that ever ate half your day?

My buddy did the same thing with a monitor that wouldn't turn on, turned out the outlet switch on the power strip was off the whole time. He read somewhere that most "broken" tech is just one dumb little thing like that. Three hours for a flip of a switch, man.
