Pro tip: that grainy VHS tape from the Goodwill in Tacoma is worth more than the viral clip everyone reposted
Three weeks ago I bought a box of 12 tapes for $4 at the Goodwill on 6th Ave in Tacoma and one of them had 40 minutes of a backyard birthday party from 1989, complete with a kid falling off a trampoline and a dog stealing a hot dog off the grill. Everyone in the comments on similar clips always says the polished, edited finds are the real gems, but I think the raw home footage nobody bothered to upload is where the actual gold is. What is the most random thing you have pulled off a thrift store tape that had no right being that good?
