The night our bassist's mom unplugged the mixer during the only take that mattered

We were recording our demo in my friend's garage in Akron last March, and we finally got a full run of our best song without anyone flubbing a note. My bassist's mom came out to ask about dinner, tripped over the power strip, and killed the whole session right at the bridge. We had been at it for 3 hours and that was take 14, the first one that actually felt alive. I just sat there staring at the red light on the interface going dark while everyone else laughed out of pure frustration. We tried to redo it but the energy was gone, and we ended up keeping a scratch vocal take that sounds like we're all exhausted. Has anyone else had a random family member or neighbor wreck a perfect take like that, and did you ever manage to recreate the vibe or just settle?
