Shoutout to the week my basement flooded and we ended up with our best demo yet
Last Tuesday a pipe burst in my basement studio and soaked half our gear, so we threw a tarp over the amps and recorded everything raw in my drummer's garage. That forced us to track live with zero overdubs, and the hiss and room noise actually made the tape feel more real. Has anyone else had a disaster force you into a better recording setup?
