Am I the only one who switched from recording band practice on a phone to a $40 cassette deck and got better demos?
The phone clips every cymbal hit and makes the bass sound like wet cardboard, but the old tape saturates nice and smooth. Anyone else get better rough mixes off cheap tape than their phone?
