Guy at the flea market swore the $3 charger would fry my phone, he was right
Some dude named Rick at the Columbus flea market saw me eyeballing a no-name USB-C charger for $3 and told me flat out it would cook my phone's battery in a couple of cycles. I laughed it off and plugged it in anyway because hey, three bucks. Two charges later my phone was running hot and the battery health dropped from 94% to 89% in about 10 days, so I tossed it. Anyone else got a cheap charger horror story, or did I just get unlucky with this one?
