Watched a guy at the Portland shop use a straight razor on a skin fade, now I own three of them
I used to think straight razors were just for old school shaves and too risky for fades. Last month I was at a shop on Hawthorne watching Marcus clean up a neckline with one, and the lines were sharper than anything my trimmer ever did. So I grabbed a cheap shavette to practice on a mannequin head for two nights, nicked it up good, but by the third try my edges looked cleaner. Any of you use a razor for detailing, or do you stick with trimmers only?
