Hot take: clipper over comb vs scissor over comb for fades

I tried clipper over comb on a skin fade last week and got way more even results than I ever did with scissors, but my mentor says scissors give better texture on top. Has anyone else switched methods and found one clearly beats the other for certain hair types?

Stick with clipper over comb for fades, it gives way more consistent length. Scissors over comb work better for blending longer hair on top but slip up on short fades. Try both on different clients and see what clicks for your hand.
