Dropped $140 on a soldering station after my $12 iron cooked a headphone jack
Cheap iron had no temp control so it sat way too hot and lifted the pad right off the board, but the adjustable one let me dial it down and I saved the second attempt, so has anyone found a decent budget station that actually holds temp or am I stuck paying for the fancy one?
