DAE remember when everyone swore 3D TV was gonna replace regular TV by 2015?
I was cleaning out my parents' basement in Fresno last week and found a stack of old Best Buy flyers from 2010 where a 46 inch 3D TV was going for $1,800 and the ad said it was the future of watching everything. My dad actually bought into it and we wore those dumb glasses for maybe two months before the whole thing just died. Now I'm wondering what the current "this changes everything" tech is that we'll all be laughing at in another 15 years. What old prediction do you all still think about?

A buddy bought a 3D TV too and now it just sits there collecting dust.
