Drew a face on my iced coffee cup lid and my girlfriend pointed out it looked like her boss

I was sketching a quick angry face on my coffee lid with a Sharpie while waiting for my bagel. My girlfriend looked over and said, "That's literally Mr. Henderson from accounting." I hadn't even thought about her boss in months, but once she said it I couldn't unsee the bald head and squinty eyes. Now I'm wondering if my subconscious just pulls faces from real life when I'm half asleep and bored. Has anyone else accidentally drawn somebody they know without meaning to?

Probably just coincidence. You drew a generic bald guy with squinty eyes, and that describes half the middle aged dudes in any office building. Brains are good at finding patterns where there aren't any. Like when you see a face in a cloud or a water stain on the ceiling. Your girlfriend just happened to connect the dots because she sees that guy every day.
