A random guy at the trailhead pointed me to a hidden lake

I was getting ready for a hike in the mountains last month. An older man noticed my map and started talking to me. He said there is a secret lake off the main trail. I decided to check it out and changed my route. The lake was so pretty and had no people around. I learned that talking to others can make trips better. Do you all get good ideas from people you meet on trails?
