Shoutout to the old lead at DFW who said leave the 40 year old wire alone
I was ready to rip out a whole bundle of old wiring in a King Air last week because it looked rough. The lead at my shop, Ray, said just ring it out and leave it be. I spent 4 hours with a Fluke instead of 2 days with a pin kit. Every wire checked fine, and the plane went out the next morning. Anybody else got a lead who saved them from a big job that didn't need doing?
